Kohlton Forest (he/him/his) is a Master of Social Work (MSW) student at the University of Denver with a focus on mental health and clinical practice. Kohlton has experience working with adolescents and young adults navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and identity development. Prior to pursuing clinical social work, Kohlton worked in the nonprofit sector, supporting unhoused young adults through advocacy, resources, and compassionate support.
Kohlton is especially passionate about working with adolescents, young adults, and LGBTQIA+ individuals. He strives to create an affirming, compassionate, and nonjudgmental therapeutic space where clients feel safe exploring their experiences, building resilience, and developing tools for healing and growth. Kohlton approaches therapy from a collaborative, strengths-based perspective, helping clients recognize their existing strengths while supporting them in cultivating greater self-understanding, empowerment, and well-being.
In his free time, Kohlton enjoys hiking, creating art, watching films, and reading a good book.
