Expert DBT Therapy for Adults
Do you struggle to manage your emotions, tolerate distress, or struggle with difficult relationships? Our expert-led DBT® program will help you create a life worth living.
Why choose our adult DBT® program?
Most clients who commit to the DBT® regimen will see significant improvement in their lives. Our fully adherent DBT® therapy is a structured program that has been shown to be effective in helping people who struggle with anger, depression, feelings of hopelessness, who struggle with substance abuse, or who have suicidal thoughts and behaviors.

What you can expect in DBT® therapy for adults?
As a client of our Adult DBT® program with Austin DBT Associates, you will gain an array of skills to manage your emotions, and you’ll learn constructive ways to deal with impulsive behaviors that often accompany strong emotions.
Unlike many other DBT® programs, Austin DBT Associates is comprehensive (fully adherent). This means that as a participant in our Adult DBT® therapy, you will benefit from all the aspects of DBT® that make it effective: individual therapy, skills training, and a therapist consultation team. You will also have access to your clinician for phone coaching outside of sessions to help you practice and apply your skills.
“I’ve been going to Austin DBT for less than a year, but I have had a huge positive impact on my life – from individual therapy, the most communicative and understanding psychiatrist, and group classes for further skill development. Austin DBT helped turn my life around from a downward spiral and their layers of therapy helped in a way I think individual therapy alone would have not worked.”
