Brittany Bilbo (she/her/hers) is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate (LPC-A) supervised by Chelsea Cohen, LPC-S. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in wellness from the University of Texas at San Antonio and later completed her Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Walden University with a focus on marriage, couples, and family counseling. Currently, Brittany is working on her Doctoral Degree in Counselor Education and Supervision at Walden University.
Brittany completed her practicum, where she gained experience working with a variety of clinical issues related to maladjustment, depression, anxiety, and PTSD. She is passionate about women’s issues, and she enjoys working with women of all ages, teenagers, and young adults. She also has a research interest in the lived experiences of individuals with eating disorders. Brittany believes that everyone is capable of positive change and growth, and that everyone is worthy of building a life they want to live.
Brittany is originally from Lubbock, a small town in the West Texas Panhandle. She currently lives in Austin with her husband and golden retriever puppy. When she’s not working, Brittany enjoys reading (anything and everything), swimming, baking, running half-marathons, and needlepointing.
