Riley Nowak (she/her) is a Clinical Mental Health Counselor in training and a graduate student at Capella University. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Family and Child Development from Texas State University in San Marcos. Riley is currently completing her practicum and internship at Austin DBT Associates.
Riley’s clinical interests include working with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, mood disorders, emotion regulation difficulties, self-esteem concerns, and interpersonal challenges. She values a collaborative, strengths-based approach that helps clients gain insight, develop practical coping skills, and create meaningful change in their lives. Riley approaches therapy through a biopsychosocial and culturally responsive lens and is committed to providing a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe exploring vulnerability and growth.
In her free time, Riley enjoys reading, cooking, exploring new hobbies, and spending time relaxing at home with her dog.
