Fernanda Marin (She/her/hers) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who completed her clinical supervision under Penny Kruger, LCSW-S. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Texas State University in San Marcos and a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin. Her approach is collaborative, non-judgmental, and strengths-based, creating a supportive space in her work with clients.

Her diverse clinical experience includes working at Ascension Seton Shoal Creek inpatient psychiatric facility and supporting families and individuals affected by violence and abuse. These experiences have shaped her commitment to providing an inclusive, trauma-informed environment for all individuals. She recognizes the power of safe and healthy relationships in fostering meaningful and lasting change.

Certified in The Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT) and Child and Family Stress Intervention (CFTSI), Fernanda specializes in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She integrates evidence-based approaches to help clients process trauma, build emotional regulation skills, and improve their relationships with others. She is honored to be part of the ADBTA team, supporting clients in achieving their therapeutic and Life Worth Living Goals.

As a bilingual and bi-cultural clinician, Fernanda provides therapy in both English and Spanish, making mental health services more accessible to diverse communities. Originally from Mexico City and now residing in Austin, Texas, she is passionate about making quality mental health available to all.

In her free time, Fernanda enjoys spending time outdoors with family and friends. Whether reading, paddleboarding, biking, hiking, or camping with her husband and their two dogs, she values staying active and connected to nature.

Fernanda Marin (Ella) es una trabajadora social licenciada (LCSW) que completó su supervisión clínica con Penny Kruger, LCSW-S. Tiene una licenciatura en Trabajo Social de la Universidad Estatal de Texas en San Marcos y una maestría en Trabajo Social de la Universidad de Texas en Austin. Su enfoque es colaborativo, sin prejuicios y basado en fortalezas, creando un espacio de apoyo en su trabajo con los clientes.

Su diversa experiencia clínica incluye trabajar en el centro psiquiátrico para pacientes internados Ascension Seton Shoal Creek y brindar apoyo a familias e individuos afectados por la violencia y el abuso. Originaria de la Ciudad de México y ahora residente en Austin, Texas, le apasiona hacer que la salud mental de calidad esté disponible para todos.

En su tiempo libre, Fernanda disfruta de pasar tiempo al aire libre con familiares y amigos. Ya sea leyendo, andando en bicicleta o acampando con su esposo y sus dos perros, valora mantenerse activa y conectada con la naturaleza.
