Marcy Musgrave (she/her/hers) is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) supervised by Ashley Porter, LCSW-S. Marcy is a compassionate DBT therapist with deep roots in the heart of Texas. A proud alumna of Texas A&M (but don't be surprised to see her wearing burnt orange from time to time), she has called Austin home for over two decades, where she has built a life rich in diversity, resilience, and joy. As a single mom to five children adopted from foster care, she embodies strength and unconditional love, channeling her experiences into her work with clients.

With a diverse range of clients, Marcy finds deep fulfillment in her work, from guiding teens and 20-somethings as they navigate early adulthood to supporting older adults as they reflect on how to best spend their final years. She thrives in parent coaching, empowering caregivers with the tools and insights they need to navigate the challenges of raising resilient children. In couples therapy, she fosters understanding and communication, helping partners build strong, enduring bonds.

Marcy is committed to the foster and adoption community, drawing on personal experience to provide compassionate support and guidance. Additionally, she is experienced in addressing religious trauma, offering a safe space for individuals to explore and heal from past wounds. Embracing diversity in all its forms, Marcy proudly serves the LGBTQ+ community, offering affirming and inclusive therapy to individuals seeking support and acceptance.

Beyond her therapeutic practice, Marcy spends time on her urban farm (complete with pigs, chickens and ducks). You can also find her on a paddleboard or the pickleball court, enjoying time with friends at coffee shops, and tending to her garden. Her favorite thing of all, though, is time with her family.

Marcy invites you to join her on a journey of healing, growth, and embracing the Life Worth Living.
